THE UNDERCROFT

For this project, we had to create an advertising campaign for a brand of our choice, for which I chose Vans Girls. Styled by me, photographed by Louisa Rogers and modelled by Rhiannon Thomas.

It was shot on location at the Southbank undercroft, which is currently under threat of being demolished despite being the centre of the UK skateboarding scene for decades. Sign the petition here.

These images are from an editorial that I worked on for Oryx Magazine a few months ago. It was part of a project that some fashion journalism students at my university were working on, as they aimed to create a high-end publication for young women in Dubai.

We had a great team and an even better time, shooting for several hours on one of May's sunniest days. With regards to overall experience, it's the most fun I've had on a shoot. Believe it or not these were shot in west London, but clever backdrop selections and effective photography give the impression they were shot somewhere a lot more exotic. Our model, Nina, was also excellent and despite being an amateur, had a professional way of working. I think her personality comes across in the images.

FINAL PROJECT: BEHIND-THE-SCENES

Here are some behind-the-scenes shots from the shoot I did on Wednesday with a group of girls from my university for our final project of the year. The concept was gypsies, black magic and darkness so we contacted a number of young designers and borrowed eight outfits that fitted with our theme.

Shooting again for To Love Kuvaa today, photographing the Spring/Summer collection. Here is a quick photograph I took of one of our models in hair and make-up (both by Chloe Ellis Hilaire), channelling some flower child vibes. Like last time I styled the looks which will be up soon!

STYLE ICON PROJECT: FINAL IMAGES

Here are the final images I used to document the outfits I put together, complete with horrendous editing by me. Overall I am happy with my outcome, however there are a few things I would go back and change if I could. Having studied Bowie and what he has worn throughout his entire life and career, I believe these outfits reflect his style accurately.
